DeMoura said the <br /> summer program ran for seven weeks. A summary report of <br /> financial activity will be produced. <br /> 7.3 Enrollments - Dr. I ell oura said there are currently 1,973 <br /> student enrollment projections for September. Ms. Macdonald <br /> questioned the difference in June enrollments on her printout as <br /> compared to the one in the packet. Dr. DeMoura will investigate. <br /> Mrs. Lynch asked if classes mould begin in September with <br /> 25 students in a class? Dr. I eMoura said there would be 25 <br /> students per in some classes. <br /> Because Chief of Police William Przybylek and officer Doris <br /> I ottridge arrived to discuss the DALE program, Mrs. Lynch asked <br /> the Committee if they could make their presentation at this time. <br /> The Committee mittee agreed. <br /> 9.6 I . .1 .E. r _grrrm - Ms. Macdonald asked for this item to be <br /> placed on the agenda to discuss removing students from academic <br /> classes to participate in the DALE program. <br /> Mrs. Lynch-explained how some students are taken out of their <br /> classes to attend DARE classes at the high school. In order to <br /> coordinate classes with officer Doris' schedule, it is necessary to <br /> do this, however, Chief Przybylek explained that the Police <br /> Department artment could be willing to work out a schedule that would <br /> riot conflict with officer Doris' schedule while at the�same time, not <br /> remove students from academic gasses. Mr-s. Lynch stressed the <br /> Committee is not questioning the benefits of the program, just the <br /> scheduling. In the end, high school principal, John Williams, Will <br /> work with officer Doris to coordinate classes with her schedule. <br /> .4 Facilities Deport - Dr. I eMoura said Mr. Cook vas-on <br /> vacation but he reports only during regular School Committee <br /> meetings, not special meetings, as this meeting was. <br /> .5 EY98 Budget - Mrs. Lynch asked if here is enough money to <br /> cover the crossing guard's pay increase? Dr. I eMoura responded <br /> saying with an increase, there will be a small deficit. <br />
