SCHOOL COMMITTEE - CONTINUATION OF OCTOBER 7. 1997 REGULAR MEETING <br /> OCTOBER 22, 1991 PAGE <br /> After more discussion, it was noted to bring this issue hack at <br /> another upcoming meeting. <br /> .11 Process Reports -- This was an issue that Mrs. Lynch had <br /> asked to be placed on the agenda but due to her absence, it Will he <br /> discussed at another meeting. <br /> 9.12 Storekeeper er - Mrs. Mills asked that his topic be placed on <br /> tonight's agenda. She said she was under the impression there <br /> would be one central distribution area for all supplies and not <br /> having two employees distributing materials. Dr. I eMoura <br /> explained that curriculum chairpersons do not distribute <br /> materials. He said the mail and large amounts of copying need to <br /> e delivered among the.schools. The storekeeper needs to be here <br /> in the summer for checking in supplies. Discussion'n' then followed <br /> regarding the storekeeper's responsibilities and distribution of <br /> supplies once they are received at the schools. <br /> Mrs. Mills, once again, expressed her feelings on the School <br /> Committee not being informed or notified of the storekeeper's job. <br /> .13 Pedestrians estrians High school Safely_- Mr. Paxton asked about <br /> the status of high school students congregating at the trailer hark <br /> across the street from the high school. Mr. Williams responded <br /> that he has not heard from the manager of the trailer park again so <br /> he assumes the students are not gathering there any longer. <br /> r <br /> .1 la Carte Lunch vices - Mr. Paxton made motion t <br /> approve the a la carte lurch prices. <br /> Motion seconded by Mrs. Mills. <br /> Ms. Macdonald said the Menu Advisory Committee is concerned <br /> about the high school lunch prices. In previous year, items had <br /> leen included in the overall price but this year these same items <br /> have a separate charge. She said fillers, i.e., french fries, fruit, <br /> have been removed from the menu and nothing put in their place. { <br /> Students must pay for any extra fillers. After more discussion, it <br /> was decided that the a la carte prices should remain as last year's <br /> until some questions are answered. This issue will be placed on <br /> the October 29th meeting agenda. <br />
