This was ars-invitation <br /> to those concerned if they would be interested in serving on the <br /> advisory committee. <br /> x7,10 Student Performance Standards - Dr. DeMoura explained <br /> that at the April, 1997 Board meeting a process and schedule for <br /> setting student performance standards for the Massachusetts <br /> Comprehensive Assessment System MCAs was reviewed. The <br /> process outlined the following four steps: <br /> . I etef e the number of performance levels <br /> 2. Establish general definitions for each level <br /> 3. Establish specific definitions for each level by content <br /> area and great level; and <br /> . set threshold scores for each of the performance levels <br /> on each of the tests, <br /> Dr. I el Moura said there are four performance levels involved.
