Ire an effort to obtain tutorial services, Dr. I eil oura <br /> recommended increasing the hourly rate to $20.00. Also, tutorial <br /> services never exceed 10 hours per week. It was decided to have <br /> this issue discussed at the next budget meeting. <br /> 9.4 High school Schedule - Dr. DeMoura said this is an update <br /> of the High School Schedule Study Committee and its fastest <br /> activities. Members ofthe School Committee ere invited to attend <br /> any future meetings of the Schedule Study Committee. <br /> XI. Committee 10.1 Sub-Committ e Reports <br /> Reports . <br /> 10.1.1 Negotiations - There was nothing to report this <br /> evening. <br /> 10-1.2 High School - Ms. Macdonald retorted on ameeting - <br /> held where block scheduling was discussed. ; <br /> i <br /> 10.1.3 El merrtar r School - Mgrs. Cook reported on a meeting <br /> held on January 26th where specialists were discussed. <br /> 10.1.4 Curriculum - Mrs. Lynch said the music, social <br /> science, and health curriculums have been completed. <br /> She stressed the hard work the teachers put in to each <br /> f these documents. <br /> 10.2. External Reports <br /> 10.2.1 ,Cape Cod Collaborative - Ms. Macdonald attended a <br /> meeting where the substitute call-in service was <br /> discussed. A total of $6,000 would be required for <br /> next school year to renew' this service. Alternatives <br /> will be sought. Also discussed was classroom space <br /> offered by other istn'cts. <br /> 10.2.2 Leisure Services - Mrs. Cook reported on a meeting <br /> held on February ar 3 with building principals, Leisure <br /> Services representatives, School Facilities supervisor <br /> and others to address the over-scheduling of buildings <br /> last summer which led to restricted cleaning of the <br /> buildings. Also, supervision of the prograxn <br /> participants was an issue discussed. She said no <br />
