Call Meeting Mrs. Lynch called the regular meeting to order at 7:05 .m. in ffigh <br /> To Order School room E 103. <br /> I. Approval of 2.1 Joint Meeting tin of Januar 26,___1998 (With Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes and `finance Commi ittee -- Motion made by Ms. Macdonald <br /> seconded by Mr. Paxton, to approve the minutes of the joint <br /> meeting of the School Committee, Board of Selectmen and Finance � <br /> Committee. <br /> TE: Unanimous <br /> 2.2 Regglar Meeting of Februg= 1998 - Motion made by Mrs. <br /> Cook, seconded by Mrs. Mills, to approve the minutes of the <br /> regular meeting of February ary , 1998. <br /> VOTE: unanimous <br /> 2.3 Executive Session of Fe rof , 1 - It was decided these <br /> minutes would be voted upon at the April regular meeting. <br /> III Public 'or m Mr. George Navin addressed the Committee, once again, as a � <br /> follow-up to his presentation, last month regarding retaining the <br /> Collaborative classroom at the Quashnet River School next school <br /> year instead of moving it to another school. Mrs. Lynch said as <br /> soon as the Committee knows of any developments in this area, <br /> Mr. Davin will he inform ed. <br /> i <br /> Phyllis Sprout spoke regarding the upcoming MCAS tests and <br /> urged the school Committee not to give up on the older students <br /> with reading disabilities. She asked if there would be a linkage <br /> between MCAS and local businesses. <br />
