Community nit Notification <br /> Dr. DeMoura asked if the Committee would like to have a letter sent to parents <br /> and the community, as an infor a ion l iter, only advising therm as to the <br /> status of the school budget regarding possible reductions. <br /> Mrs. Cook said it was the PTO's responsibility ility to notify the community of the <br /> importance of attending Town Meeting. <br /> There was no action taken. <br /> V, other <br /> Dr! DeMoura reminded the Committee of the upcoming annual Darr on the Hill <br /> scheduled for May 13-14 at the State House. All interested Committee members <br /> must notify the Superintendent's Secretary by May 8, 1998. <br /> Dr. DeMoura informed the Committee he had met with Patrick Coffey, Chairman <br /> of the Planning Board, this afternoon who informed the School Department ent of a <br /> meeting set for Wednesday, April 15, 1998 at :30 to discuss the rotaryby-pass <br /> (aka Job's Fishing load Extension). This road comes very close to the Quashnet <br /> Schools and would be a dangerous location for school children. <br /> The Committee asked Dr. DeMoura to send a fetter to the Planning Board <br /> stating a lard swap was agreed to at a meeting wi <br />
