V, co mu i- 5.1 Correspondence from Gina Hotton dated se tember 1 cations 1998 - Mrs. Hotton's concern is regarding the elimination o instrumental lessons in grade 4. 5.2 'Correspondence from Kathleen McCarthydated September 26, 1998 - Mrs. M cCarth 's letter also addressed the same concern as above. Mfrs. Lynch responded to both concerns stating that when the budget was discussed, financial constraints were such that all programs could not be continued. Unfortunately, only instrumental music lessons for grades 5 and 6 could be saved. Mfrs. Mills suggested perhaps Leisure services could assist in this area. MIs. Macdonald stated there will be a Leisure services Advisory Council meeting on October 13, 1998 if Mrs. Hotton and Mrs. McCarthy would life to attend that meeting to address this issue. VI. Student student Advisory Council representative Chris Maguire said Advisory "Everything is OK so far." Council MIs. Macdonald asked if the High School menus were distributed. Mr. Williams said they are no longer sent home with each student but are posted on the web page and will be distributed to teachers. VII.
