OLD BUSINESS (continued) 4) The Board reviewed a final report from Cicoria, Fantasia and Company relative to an audit of the Mashpee Art ' s Council . Mr .. iurphy explained that this was informational only and no action was necessary. 5) Chief Frye responded in writing t the Board relative to a question raised regarding the first candidate for Police Officer . No action was necessary by the Board. NEW BUSINESS 1 selectman Gottlieb roved to execute the February 1 , 1988 special town. meeting warrant. Selectman Carter seconded the motion. All were in favor. Selectman Carter moved to mate the ambulance bill owed by Patrolman Dace in the amount of $59, selectman Manson seconded the motion. All were in favor. The Board reviewed the proposed FY89 District Department of veteran' s Services Budget . Mr . Murphy explained a copy has been seat to John Dami the 'Iowa' s representative. After review Selectman Carter moved to direct John Dari to vote to stay within proposition . Selectman Lawrence seconded the motion. All were in favor . 4) Selectman Carter roved to accept the resignation of Chester Brown from Police station Building Committee . selectman Lawrence seconded the motion. All were in favor. 5) Mr . Murphy advised the Board that the legislative commission on a John F. Kennedy memorial is requesting the Chairman or a member of the Board of Selectmen chair a local fundraising committee to raise money to pay for a statue of President Kennedy at the State Douse. No action was taken at this time . The Town Clerk has communicated to the Board that a- member who serves on the Board of Registrars is working as a town employee . she further communicated that she must resign from the Board of Registrars and has been notified to do so but has not.
