BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES <br /> TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 169 1988 - Regular session <br /> Page. 2. , - - - <br /> OLD BUSINESS (continued) <br /> Selectman Hanson updated the Board relative to the move of town hall <br /> offices. Selectman Hanson advised that it- is necessity to use the <br /> portable-classrooms.. He explained that the Building Department and <br /> Board of Health would not be located in this building. The Assessor's <br /> will be moving into the Selectmen's office, the Treasurer's office will <br /> move into Mr. Murphy's office, Personnel will move in with the Accountant <br /> and Mr. Murphy and his staff will move int the Portable classrooms along <br /> with the Town Planner. <br /> Selectman Carter moved to go forward with the plan. Selectman Lawrence <br /> seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1 Selectmen were advised. by the Town Clerk that Mial Fol ins will be unavailable <br /> to act_ as Warden -for- the Presidential Primary.. She asked that Richard Mosley <br /> be appointed as Acting Warden for the Presidential Primary. <br /> Selectman Lawrence moved to -appoint Richard S. Mosley as Acting Warden. <br /> Selectmen Carter seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> Selectman Lawrence moved to approve the request of David Ryan, Shellfish <br /> Constable to travel to Rockport Maine on March 11, 1988 for seminar <br /> in connection with' the Maine Fishermen's Forum. selectman Gottlieb seconded <br /> the motion. All- were in favor. <br /> 3 selectman Lawrence moved to accept the dues of the Massachusetts Municipal <br /> Association for 88/89, which will be $981. selectman Gottlieb seconded the <br /> motion. All were in favor, <br /> 4 Selectmen -reviewed a communication from the Secretary of state relative to <br /> the voter Hall of Fame, <br /> Selectmen asked that this be _forwarded to the Council on Aging. <br /> Selectman Gottlieb advised the Board that he has received a call from a <br /> handicapped gentleman- relative to the deterioration of Pimlico Pond Road <br /> due to heavy equipment. Mr. Gottlieb stated he has spoken to the Executive <br /> Secretary of sandwich a . well. as Ernie.- Virgilio and both will look into <br /> the situation. <br /> Being no further regular business Selectman Gottlieb moved to go into executive <br /> session to discuss a pending grievance, selectman Carter seconded the motion. <br /> All members of the Board were in favor. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 7:52 p.m. <br /> spectfu -1y su witted, <br /> oyce M.
