Murphy and Town Counsel, Joseph <br /> J . Reardon <br /> GUESTS : Wendy Rubin ,, Phil Wilson ., Attorney Howard Horton , Richard Halpern <br /> Attorney Kevin Kirrane <br /> The meeting convened at 3 : 00 *m. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Selectman Gottlieb moved to accept minutes for January 4 , 1988 Execu-tive <br /> Session , January 11 , 1988 Regular Session , January 19 , 1988 Regular <br /> Session and March 21 , 1988 Regular and Executive Sessions . <br /> All were 1.n favor. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> Cablevision Advisory commission Recommendation - Attorney Howard Horton , <br /> who has been recommended by the Cablevision Advisory commission to provide <br /> professional services to the town with respect to the cable television <br /> licensing process . Discussed some aspects of cable TAT law. <br /> 'Mr. Carter ask ed if the town would be able to recoup administrative costs <br /> associated with licensing. Mr. Horton stated that there would be a very <br /> good chance of recovering most , if not all costs . <br /> Mr. carter asked why town coonel couldn ' t handle this task. Mr. <br /> Reardon stated that he could, but that Mr, Horton , having the experience <br /> he does , could handle the matter more quickly and more efficiently. <br /> It was the consensus of the hoard to have Mr. Horton submit a proposal <br /> to the Hoard. <br /> Seasonal Liquor License - A public hearing was held regarding the <br /> seasonal liquor license for Popponesset Inn, Popponesset Marketplace <br /> and the Barn . There were no comments from the applicants , the town <br /> or from the public, therefore, Mr. Carter moved to close the hearing <br /> and grant seasonal liquor license to Popponesset Inn , Popponesset <br /> Marketplace and the Barn . Mr. Lawrence and Mr. Hanson obs tained from <br /> voting on Popponesset Inn and Popponesset Marketplace and voted yes <br /> on the Barn . All were in favor. <br /> Cape Cod Convention Center - A public hearing was held regarding the <br /> Carpe Cod Convention Center ( d/b/a Sun- Wash Restaurant ) expanding its <br /> license to include vocal music, dancing, 3 video machines and two <br /> wool tables and expanding its current license to include Sundays . <br /> Y _ <br /> Mr. Richard Halpern I .at tonne r, LKevin K,irran - gage a descr i.ption of , <br /> what r.
