�s s <br /> r' 4 <br /> BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> 0 DN A , MAY 16 , 1988 REGULAR SESSION . <br /> IUTES <br /> PRESENT : Selectmen Lawrence, Gottlieb, Hanson, Jacobson, and Carter and <br /> Executive Secretary Joseph F, Murphy <br /> GUESTS: Robert Horton, Wendy Rubin , Jayne Hendricks , Phil Wilson , <br /> Patrice Kamb, Douglas Storrs , Arnold Chace <br /> The meeting convened at p.m. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Mr. Gottlieb moved to accept the minutes of May 9 , 1988 regular <br /> Session. Mrs , Jacobson seconded the motion . All were in favor. <br /> r <br /> R <br /> APPOINTMENTS & .HEARINGS <br /> 1 . A hearing was held with Mr. Robert ert A. Horton , 'sident Manager of <br /> Sea Mist regarding the transport . of Sea Mist residents to and from <br /> South Cape Beach. . <br /> Wendy Rubin that - her department .had problems,, with the fact that <br /> Sea Mist is dropping off and' picking. up at the . intersection of -the <br /> beach where the causeway begins , causing traffic and safety problems . <br /> . <br /> Also people waiting for the bus are sitting in ..lounge chairs in <br /> the emergency access area of the parking lot . <br /> Mr. Horton stated that he had received permission from the Guard <br /> at the Mate Beach lot to drop off and pick up residents , <br /> Mrs . Jayne Hendricks raised the question of the article passed <br /> at Town Meeting concerning the ren-payment of taxes and the loss <br /> of town services , Acocrding to Ms . Hendricks ,, Sea Mist ' s taxes are <br /> nt,.fully paid, She also stated that other groups had requested <br /> pritsfor shuttle buses and were turned down for reasons of <br /> traf_fid 5-'s`afe" ty,, etc . <br /> Mr. Lawrence appointed Mr. Gottlieb and Wendy Rubin to work with <br /> Mr. Horton to come up with an agreement , Mr. Gottlieb asked for <br /> the Board ' s permission to contact Town Counsel to investigate <br /> various legal recourse in the Town regarding the restriction of <br /> such shuttles on the Town ' s beach. The meeting was scheduled for <br /> Wednesday, April 1 , 1988 * <br /> . Mashpee Child Bevelopment ' Clu , Inc. - Ms . Patrice Kamb attended <br /> to request a renewal of the lease for the Club which is located <br /> at the Mashpee Recreation ion Building. <br />
