I <br /> I � <br /> BOARD of SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES <br /> *ONDAY, MAY 1 . 1988 <br /> AGE 4 <br /> i <br /> NEW BUSINESS (CONT. ) <br /> communication was received from Purity Supreme regarding opening <br /> on Sundays and holidays at 8 : 00 a.m. The Board instructed Mr.. <br /> Murphy to reply with a letter stating the town does not have <br /> statutory authority to approve this request . <br /> . A request was received from the Director of Human Services at <br /> the Barnstable County Jail regarding the use of residents of <br /> Barnstable County House of Corrections ,to perform unskilled <br /> labor, i.e . , clean up , painting, etc. Mr. Murphy was instructed <br /> by the Board to get requests from various departments and to send <br /> a- reply indicating the town ' s interest in this program. <br /> . Mr. Carter moved to- 'grant a one day permit to Mashp e womp. <br /> Rod and Gun Club _ ori IaY -1were in favor. <br /> 7 . Mrs . Jacobson moved to accept the bid of P.S . Ideal to supply <br /> #2 fuel on the oil tank wagon delivery mode and secondly to <br /> accept the bid of- Belcher of New England to provide fuel in <br /> the motor transport delivery mode . All were .in favor. <br /> 91 1 , Mr. Carter moved to accept the bid of Pilgrim Equipment Corp. <br /> to provide the town with a beach rale. Mr. Hanson seconded the <br /> motion. All were in favor. <br /> . Mr. Carter moved to reject the laid of central Cape Dodge to <br /> provide the town with a dump truck because the bid did not meet <br /> specifications and also to reject the bid of Hyannis Nissan to <br /> supply the town with one or more utility trucks since there <br /> is no appropriation to buy the trucks . Mr. Gottlieb seconded the <br /> motion . All were in favor. <br /> 10 .
