Rubin <br /> in <br /> re: expenses on printing. on a 2 year sticker - this is a <br /> $500-.- per year--,savings . <br /> Mr. Gottlieb moved to rescind the previous vote by which <br /> the Board es talished- a $16 . 00 two year fee and an $8 .00 <br /> one year fee . Mr, Hanson seconded the motion . All were in favor. <br /> Mr. Carter -was opposed. <br /> Mr. Gottlieb then moved to institute a $10 .00 one year fee and a <br /> $20 .00 two year fee. .(This means that a sticker purchased in <br /> 1988 would have to be for two years , and in 1989 would be a <br /> one year only ticker) . Mr. Hanson seconded the motion . All <br /> were in favor. Mr. Carter was opposed. <br /> . Mr. Charles - Hicks attended to speak on behalf of the Veterans t <br /> request a memorial stone be placed at Pine Tree Corner Rotary <br /> Circle. All agreed that the rotary was not an appropriate location <br /> dui t_ ) traffi . fir. Lawrence suggested th t the store h placed at <br /> he Library. Wendy Rubin in stated that a plan has been designed <br /> at Heritage Memorial Park for this type of memorial. Mr. Lawrence <br /> stated that Mr. Hicks should speak with the Veterans group and <br /> come u6 with three suggested locations . <br /> . Ma shpee Little League - Mr. Fudala attended to present to the Board <br /> several potential sites for Mhpee Little League. <br /> Mr.1-.�Fud la' felt that existing Heritage Memorial Park would <br /> disrupt operations and programs of Parks & Recreation Department . <br /> . <br /> The next feasible site would he Route 28 and Sampsons. Mill load <br /> adjacent to the proposed VFW site. <br /> The third site discussed was Ashumet Road - this 11 acre port in 'of <br /> Heritage Park, south f Ashumet Road which Mr. Fudala "felt eras <br /> the hest site from the Town ' s perspective. � _ = �,..; <br /> Mr. Lawrence suggested that Mr. Scorgie meet with Mr. Fudala to <br /> review these sites and discuss the pros and cons of each. ` <br /> Mr. Fudala added that he strongly recommended lease arrangements <br /> with conditions and protective clauses for the town. Mr. Carter <br /> suggested that a playground e included in any plans , <br /> Mr. Fudala and Mr. Scorgie will report back to the Board on June <br /> at 8:00 p .m. <br />
