Carter seconded the motion . <br /> All were in favor, <br /> . Wendy Rubin attended in response to a"letter regarding fishing <br /> equipment being left at oath 'Cape Beach. Also discussed was <br /> the fact that the fisherman.- are taking up swimming areas on the <br /> beach. - Mr. Lawrence . suce td that Mr. virgiliol and Ms . Rubin <br /> meet to come up with a des i noted ' area' for fishing/swimming. <br /> 5 . Mr. Gottlieb moved that - e i legs of New Seabu ry Restaurant <br /> Country Club be allowed to serve champagne at the New Seabury <br /> Tennis Court on July 3, 1988 between 12 :00 p.m. and 4 : 00 p.m. <br /> Mr. Carter seconded the motion . All were in favor. Mr, Lawrence <br /> stepped down from the vote. <br /> . The Board reviewed a number of articles for the August Special <br /> Town Meeting <br /> Article 2 - To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and <br /> transfer from a sum of money to purchase and equip an all-wheel <br /> drive vehicle for the Conservation CommissIon, or take any other <br /> action relating thereto. This article was deferred from the Annual <br /> Town Meeting warrant due to an insufficient bid received, Mrs . <br /> Jacobson stepped down from this discussion . <br /> Article-.3 - To see if the Town' will vote to appropriate and transfer <br /> from the Stabilization Fund a sum of money to purchase and equip a <br /> dump truck, plow and sander for the DPW, or take any other act ion <br /> relating . thereto. This article was deferred from Annual. Town <br /> Meeting as was Article 2 . <br /> Articles 12 and 13 relating - to the School Committee <br /> Article 1 - teacher contract $175 ,867 - ' Dr. DeMoura suggested <br /> that if the town approved this appropriation that the portion of <br /> the school budget that has been approved could be utilized and <br /> when cash is certified and available, be transferred at than point . <br /> Mr. Gottlieb stated that this would be putting the budget at risk. <br /> Article 1 - To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate <br /> or appropriate and transfer from available funds , the sun of <br /> $7 , 595 t o contract for the development of a management plan in <br /> order to comply with the requirements of Public Law 99-519 <br /> Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act , All agreed than this <br /> article has to go on the warrant . <br />
