Work Week of Clerical Employees - Mr. Lawrence stated that this is <br /> a. topic to be discussed an Inter-departmental meeting. Mr. Lawrence <br /> felt that Wd for __th .nv_ ni n f-,,taxpayers, town offices should <br /> be <br /> open c urin norma ki szn � hours , Anne thaw requested that <br /> two of her employees , Marilyn Hendricks an Varden Kelley be <br /> permitted to work 8 : 00 a,m. .- p.m. with one hour for lunch. <br /> The Board did ti.D object t the request , however, at the suggestion <br /> of Mr. Murphy decided to defer action until an agreeable schedule <br /> could be prepared for all departments . <br /> . The Board noted a communication from Department of Veterans ' <br /> Services regarding the passage of senate Bill 1276 which allows <br /> an increase above % by approval of vote of the District ' s <br /> Governing Board and the unanimous vote of our Board for a District <br /> Department of veterans services Fiscal Year Budget of $126 , 225 .00 <br /> The Town of Mashee percentage is 7 .6% for a 1989 Fiscal Year <br /> Assessment of $9 ,593 . 10 <br /> Mr. Manson moved to direct Mr. Virgilio to proceed with the <br /> relocation of Great Oak lad off the property of Robert Kennedy, <br /> Mrs . Jacobson seconded ed the motion, All were in favor. <br /> A discussion took place regarding additional -. a%la�t l re <br /> funds i <br /> 1989 due to the recommendation of a Cape-wide b ildin moratorium <br /> and the defeat of the special permit extension for New seabury <br /> Corporation. All agreed that arxima,f l $150 ,000 should be <br /> held i reserve. The Board instructed Mr. Murphy to advise them <br /> at next week' s meeting of a specific plan for this additional money. <br /> The Board further discussed articles to appear on the August 8 , 1988 <br /> Special Town Meeting warrant. <br /> Mrs , Jacobson stepped down during a discussion of proposed article <br /> 19 - the lana article submittedti`L y Torn,--F d' la. <br /> { <br /> OTHER OLD BUSINESS <br /> S � <br /> 1.
