Mr. Hanson moved to appoint Kevin speroni and Loring Spencer as mate attendants at Attaquin Park. Mr. Carter seconded th6. motion. All were in favor. Ms . Rubin asked when. these positions would become effective since the employees would need to be trained, She stated that she could have the gate attendants reader by- Saturday. - The Board was in-- agreement n-- a reement with this . F Ms , Dubin also stated that she couldn ' t staff the beach with life- guards five days per weep and since this• is not normal policy, she requested written directive from the Board to that effect . Carter moved to appoint Linda S3olander, Robert Fernald and Sheryl, H lane s for a two year term and Non ie Nickerson, Lynn -Moran and Tony Sciaril.l.o to a one year term to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee, Mr, Gottlieb ,seconded the motion, All were in favor. Mr. Gottlieb moved Jo •appoint . Jane Gennaro, Karen Weiss as Board Secretaries , Mr. Carter seconded, the motion . All were in favor. Mr, Murphy requested, the Board to defer action on a memo from Wendy Rubin regarding Permit office Staff e equirement so that he may have an opportunity to work with Ms . Rubin, Ernie Virgilio and Paul Somerville to discuss the funding of this . . Mr. Richard Harris of the Barn on Route 28 attended to discuss the traffic problems resulting from the lights at the intersection of Rte. 28 and 130 . The. Board agreed that they would request Mr. Cahir to meet with Representative Morin of Barnstable to request assistance from the State . - at tate . - at least to change the timing of the light as an immediate solution. Mr* Fudala mentioned that Stratford Ponds has been -directed by the state to put in a temporary left hand tura lane at this intersection . Mr. & Mrs , Joyner attended to request assistance from the Board regarding water .drai,nage from Cotiut Road onto their property. They requested the Town to la.y and maintain a drain pipe from a road drain ori- Cotiut Road down part of their property line. Ernie Virgilio will meet with Town Counsel for advice regarding an easement , Also, Mr. Virgilio stated that he would need to go to Town Meeting for funding.
