Gottlieb arrived at 4; 50 P.m, <br /> MINUTES <br /> Mr . Carter. moved to accept he Regular and Executive Session minutes <br /> of September 19, 1988. Mrs . Jac bs,�n seconded the motion. Mr . <br /> Lawrence was in favor. Mr . Gottlieb was not present for the vote. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> 1 . Mrs , Jacobson moved to close two areas of Pirates Cove; (the <br /> point to the east of the Pirates Cove Public Landing and the <br /> point to the southwest of the Pirates Cove Public Landing) <br /> ' .o the taking of soft she] ] clams until Further notice per <br /> recommendation of the Shellfish Commission. Mr . carter <br /> seconded the motion. Mr.. Lawrence was in favor and <br /> Mr. of l i eb was not present for the vote. <br /> 2 . Mr . Dave Rich o .he High food Water Company attended to <br /> explain to 'the Board -the basis of i s recommendations <br /> relative to construct i na water lines the new elementary <br /> school and the Police and Fire station. <br /> Mr.. carter moved to accept the bid of D. J . Donahue Company <br /> for- installation o the water line at the Police and Fire <br /> Station and the new elementary school and to accept on a <br /> line i tem basis the lowest bidders regarding the contract <br /> for materials only and also -to accept the two alternate <br /> contracts as well . Mr. Gottlieb was not present for the <br /> discussion . <br /> . Town counsel Josenh Reardon attended to discuss with the <br /> hard a number, of issues that he has been involved wi h. <br /> Mr, Gottlieb was not present for, these discuss-ions. <br /> I . Mr. Reardon presented a suggested form letter to <br /> be used for people who are cond c co erc J <br /> activities on any of the public access ramps <br /> maintained bar the State. This letter would not be <br /> appropriate for use for Torn owned landfngs since <br /> there are currently no regulations in place <br /> similar to that adopted by the Public Access Board <br />
