The Board noted a communication from -the Massachusetts <br /> e l ec me o s Association and Fair wage Committee -Iequesting <br /> that Selectmen pass a resolution regarding prevailing wage. <br /> . The Board discussed a vacancy on the Finance nance Committee and <br /> heir submission of candidate, Anthony Gallo. The Board <br /> agreed . the vacancy should be advertilsed and, that the <br /> issued would be brought up in one week. <br /> 3 . The Board approved the Bond Indemnification Agreement for <br /> Signs prepared by Joseph Rear-don. <br /> 4. Mr . ury advised the Beard that Thursday, October 20 , <br /> 1986 is -the date scheduled for review of the Special Town <br /> Meeting warrant with the Finance Commi ee and the Board o-F <br /> Selectmen. <br /> 5 . Mr, Gottlieb requested that Douglas Boyd, Building Inspector <br /> submi <br /> ns ec or`- <br /> i more complete report relative to L & L Associates <br /> and the Planning Board next week. <br /> 6 . The Board discussed a communicationfrom the Finance <br /> Committee relative to three articles for the November <br /> Special Town Meeting, Article 30 - Mr. Lawrence stated that, <br /> he would speak -to Norman Reed, Chairman of the Senior Center <br /> Building lding o i ee relative to this article. Article 32 <br /> The Board agreed to follow the recommendation of the Finance <br /> Committee to amend the amount on thisarticle from , 200 to <br /> $30 ,000. Ar~ .icle 35 - The Board agreed not follow the <br /> recommendation of the Finance of ee, but to have this <br /> article rern i n on the warrant. <br /> 7 * Mr. Gottlieb moved to appoint Howland Evora as Acting <br /> i t ct07 of Civil Defense with a term to expire on <br /> June 30 , 1989. , Carter seconded the motion.
