The Board noted a memo from Dr. Elizabeth Pett i informing <br /> the Board that she will no longer attend all Selectmen#s <br /> Meetings since she no longer is the Towns 'representative on <br /> the Charter Commission. The Board i n5tru ted Mr. Murphy 'to request that Officer John <br /> Demi attend the annual meeting of the District Department of <br /> Veteran's Services to be held on December B, 1988, <br /> i I . The Board noted a communication from Barnstable Counter <br /> Commissioners informing the Board of a meeting to be held <br /> rei tiire to The Act Relative to A Charter~ for Barnstable <br /> County. Mr, Lawrence stated that he planned to attend the <br /> meeting. <br /> 1 . Mr, Carter roved to au-t-hor i e Mr. v i r ilio to exchange 500 <br /> yards of scrub sand for 3,000 yards of fill for the landfill <br /> with Crosswind Development. Mr. Hanson seconded the motion. <br /> All were in favor. <br /> i * iThe Board discussed articles for the January special Town <br /> Meet i rig. <br /> It was agreed that the zoning articles submitted by the Town <br /> Planner with the Planning Board could be out off until the <br /> Zoning Meeting in May, 1989. <br /> Articles regarding use of Jet Skis in the Town were <br /> discussed and it was agreed that the articles involving <br /> neighboring towns should be' discussed with these Towns <br /> (Sandwich and F=-I mouth r i or to their being i n em ted on the <br /> warrant. This included the articles relative to the use of <br /> Jet Skis on Ashumet Pond, and Mashpee Wakeby Pond. The <br /> articles relative to the use of Jet Skis on Johns Pond and <br /> ntuit Pond and the article relative to -the use of Jet Skis <br /> on Great River, Little River' and Mashoee River would be <br /> included on the warrant. (The Board Bred to delete entuit <br /> Pierer from this article. ) <br /> It was agreed that the two articles submitted by the Sewer <br /> Commission would be included on the warrant for the time <br /> being and to be reviewed again after a meeting to be held on <br /> Tuesday, December 6, 1988.
