To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate, or take from available funds the sum o $9000, or any other sum of money into o the Firefighter Wades Account or take any other action relating thereto. Thes6 funds will allow Fire and Fescue Department tment personnel to participate in needed training programs over the r-ema i n er of the fiscal year. Mr. Murphy stated that the money could possibly come from available free cash funds. All agreed :o support the articles , , Ernie v i i l l o, Donald Cordon of the James J . Gordon , Inc . Building Movers and Father Tort i at-Ittended to discuss the move of Christ the King Church from its location:ion on Route 2 o the new location o gobs Fishing Road. Mr . Gordon did not agree with a number of the recommendations made by Mr , Murphy relative to the e protection of the Town. I-t was agreed that the cash deposi.t o provide police/fire and DPW services would be reduced from $78,780 to $ 10 -p,000, . Hanson moved to approve the applicant (James J ., Gordon , Inc . o move Christ the King Church to Mashpee on December , 1988 as per discussed contingent upon the agreement of- specifics f- e ifi between Mr. Murphy and Mr. Gordon. Mrs . Jacobson seconded the motion and Mr . Lawrence was i -favor . Wayne 6uschman of the State Department of Public Worl stated 'that he planned a news release as well as radio i o interviews o keep people away frorn 'the area of the move. Mr. Hanson moved that Chief Frye be designated to take control f the move since traffic will be the main concern during he move, Mrs ., .Jaeo son seconded the motion and Mr . Lawrence. was in favor ,
