2 <br /> Affordable Housing Trust <br /> Minutes <br /> July 10, 2017 <br /> Present: Selectman O'Hara, Selectman Cotton, Selectman Sherman, Selectman Cahalane <br /> Richard Halpern, Mashpee Housing Authority <br /> Chris Avis,Finance Committee <br /> Allan Isbitz,Affordable Housing Committee <br /> Absent: Selectman Gottlieb <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman O'Hara at 6:15 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Torn Hall, waquoit Meeting Room <br /> PUBLIC ONCVMNT--Dane at this time <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Approval to request Qjpe Cod Commission funds to cover costs associated with a feasibility study at <br /> 950 Falmouth Load <br /> The Affordable Housing Trust(AHT)was in receipt of a proposal from the Horsley Witten group <br /> dated July 10, 2017 to advance the Affordable Housing Development Feasibility Study(Phase /final) <br /> for the Town owned land located at 950 Falmouth Road,Mashpee. <br /> It was noted in July of 2015 the Horsley Witten group prepared a preliminary feasibility study <br /> (Phase 1)for the 950 Falmouth Toad property which consists of three Town-owned contiguous parcels <br /> comprised.of 12.25 acres. <br /> Phase 2 of the study would include wetland flagging, site soil evaluations, hydrant flow testing and <br /> Fater availability assessment, conceptual wastewater sizing, conceptual stormwater management <br /> strategies and concept site plan alternatives for proposed development. The cost to perform the study <br /> i $28,350. <br /> It was recommended the AHT move forward with the study requesting permission from the Cape <br /> Cod Comnussion for use of mitigation funding for the final feasibility study for 950 Falmouth load to <br /> develop affordable lousing. <br /> It was reported the Affordable Housing Committee has reviewed the Horsley Witten Group proposal, <br /> and has recommended the Town move forward with the study. <br />
