It was requested the AHT <br /> receive a footprint/conceptual design of the proposal based on density. <br /> As discussion continued it was disclosed that Town llrleeting approval is necessary to use the 950 <br /> property for affordable housing purposes. <br /> Motion made by Selectman O'Hara to recommend the placement of a Town Meeting article on <br /> the May 2017 warrant to authorize the transfer of use of the 950 Falmouth Road site for <br /> affordable housing purposes. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> OTE: Unanimous* -o. <br /> Roll Call Vote, <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes ERIC member LeClair,yes Finance member Kl.enert,yes <br /> Affordable Housing member Isbitz, abstained opposed, none <br /> Discussion of 209 Old Barnstable Idoad <br /> Prior to the feasibility study of 950 Falmouth road,Mashpee,the Town conducted a comprehensive <br /> feasibility study of the 209 Old Barnstable Road, Mashpee site for affordable housing purposes. In <br /> consultation with the DHCD it was determined if the Town was to combine the two parcels, it would <br /> be likely that state funding would be received if more affordable housing units are proposed, and in- <br /> tam the project may attract more developers. This initiative has been under review by the Town of <br /> Mashpee for a number of years,and it was agreed the course would remain the same. It was <br /> recommended the 950 Falmouth Road site more forward with the second study before the twoprodects <br /> are combined for added affordable housing. <br />
