Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 25, 2002 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Comment*. <br /> None at this time. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AN CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Town of Wareham: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Wareham Board of Selectmen <br /> dated March 12, 2002 requesting the Board consider writing to State <br /> legislative faders stating that the ton cannot continue to function under <br /> Proposition 2 Y while being required to spend the major portion of local <br /> resources on Education Reform.orm. proposed letter was presented for the <br /> Selectmen's consideration. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to not support nor respond to the <br /> Town of Wareham with respect to this regard. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marster . <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-06 <br /> Cape Cod Healthcare: <br /> Correspondence was received from Steven Abbott, President and CEO of <br /> the`Cape Cod Healthcare dated March 8, 2002 requesting community <br /> leaders to continue to support the Open Heart Program. Mr. Abbott in his <br /> memorandum indicated that he would continue to update the Selectmen <br /> regarding ongoing program activities. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Leveille to remit correspondence to the <br /> Cape Cod Realtheare, Cape Cod Hospital in support of the efforts of <br /> the program, and request continued support of the dialysis clinic until <br /> such time a nes facility is made available to local residents. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o, <br /> i <br />
