It's our way of <br /> making it Harder on us just so that we know and the outside knows <br /> and they will never question. And as fax as ever anybody having <br /> lana taken away from them, there are land suits In upstate New <br /> York, and you know what,they have been in land court for twenty- <br /> one years and they haven't gotten one drop of land, and they have <br /> expended$14 million dollars in law fees, and you know what. It's <br /> not worth it because it divides a community. The division in the <br /> community that's up there is just unbelievable. we don't want that. <br /> Everybody seems to forget Haat Mashp a was not a tribe. It was <br /> not a town, it was a tribe, a land of many waters. 'we've been here <br /> forever, and we will be here for a lot longer. And, you know, <br /> when it comes down to negotiating for the land after recognition, I <br /> don't see it happening probably for five or ten gears after <br /> regio grit io n, the peace because most of the land that we want is not <br /> even in your hands.
