Board of Selectmen <br /> Minute <br /> April 29, 2002 <br /> APPOINTMENTS TS AIT HEARINGS: <br /> GS <br /> Vacancy Requests; <br /> Council on A in <br /> James Long, Council on Aging Director was present to request the <br /> Selectmen fill the part-time vacancy of Mini Van Bus Driver. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to re-approve the position o <br /> part-time, 19 hours per week Mini van Bus Driver to the Council on <br /> Aging as requested. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0, <br /> Council on Agiag—Request to Cone fete GrantApplication: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to place the above referenced topic <br /> on the Selectmen's agenda. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Mr. Long requested the Selectmen approve a grant application in the <br /> amount of$15,051 for the benefit of the Council on Aging. Additional i <br /> funding would assist with educational program, newsletter postage, and <br /> printing fees, etc. There are no snatching funds required to attain funding. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the request of the <br /> Council on.Aging to apply for grant funding as referenced. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Harbormaster: <br /> To Waterways Assistants were requested by the department of the <br /> Harborrn.aster and Shellfish. The temporary part-time employment is <br /> considered a position replacement. Funds are within budget. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the position vacancy <br /> request for 2 Waterways Assistants as requested. <br /> Motion seconded.by Selectman Reveille. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
