Board of Selectmen Minutes April 29, 2002 APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: INGS: Public Hearin _-Melinda B. Lee, d/b/a Cade FT vi (continued) Motion made by Selectman Taylor to approve the application of Melinda B. Lee d/b/a Caf Twiggs,Belinda.B.Lee,Manager fog- Seasonal All Alcoholic License, indoor/outdoor dining and drinking areas to include Entertainment,Recorded Music,Jule Boas only, at premises located at Popponesset Marketplace, Shore drive Mashpee. Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. r VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. Selectman Leveille absent, CaDe Light Compact—Resolution/Street Lights: The Cape Light Compact has arrange for lover-priced electricity to be provided to customers on NSTAR's Default Service. Last November,the Massachusetts Department of Telecommunications and Energy approved the proposed pilot project for the Cape Light Compact to obtain cheaper electricity for Default Customers, who have leen paying higher electricity prices than Standard Offer customers. The Compact is requesting the Board of Selectmen approve the standard, resolution to endorse the Compact's entry in the Agreement. Motion made by Selectman Marsters to accept the Resolution for Lower Priced Supply for Default Customers as presented. Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. In addition, a proposal to-purchase street lights and enter into contract with Republic Electric was presented to the Selectmen for approval. community savings estimate was disclosed.
