Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 6, 2002 <br /> Present: Selectman Cahalane, Selectman Marster , Selectman Taylor, <br /> Selectman Green Selectman Reveille <br /> Town Administrators Joyce Mason <br /> Fleeting Called to Order by Chairman Cahalane at 6:30 .m.. <br /> Conference Room 1, Quashnet School <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Town Meeting warrant—Discussion of Motions: <br /> The Board ofSelectmen met prior to the Annual and Special Town <br /> Meeting for the purpose of reviewing matters pertaining to the warrant. <br /> In attendance were Town Counsel, Theresa Dowdy and.Town Accountant, <br /> .ane I ommelrneyer. Finance Committee members present included Jeff <br /> Arnold, James Morgan, Carleton Macdonald, and Kathleen Lynch. <br /> The Finance Committee respectfully requested the Selectmen amend their <br /> recommendation for Ma hpee's share of the Cape Cod Regional Technical <br /> High School budget relative to operational and maintenance costs to <br /> reflect the original budget submission request. There are 47 students from <br /> Mashpee attending the regional high school. <br /> Motion made by Selectman 11arsters to defer to the recommendation <br /> of the Finance Committee, and support the original budget amount of <br /> $445,961 as Mashpee's share of the Cape Cod Regional'Technical <br /> High School budget. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman 'Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> In other business, the legalities of the petition article as contained in the <br /> Special Town Meeting warrant relative to the difference in the salary o <br /> Patrolman Glenn Gillan was reviewed with Town Counsel. <br /> r � <br />
