MINUTES March 7, 1991 3 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Questions were raised as to whether the well should be <br /> disconnected or remain intact for irrigation purposes . <br /> Mr, Creel ish commented the well could be utilized for- <br /> the composting area, <br /> Mr, Doherty relayed4he would not like the pump and tank <br /> disconnected from the well and stated he will contact theWa- <br /> ter District. <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> Recycling Meeting - Mr. Greelish will contact a liaison a <br /> the Senior Center. <br /> Remaining items discussed subsequent to this next appt. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Mr, Staruch & Mr. Mills - Concession Stand <br /> Mr. Staruch and Mr. Mills were in attendance for this <br /> scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr, Mills explained, they are proposing to set up a mo- <br /> bile hot dog vending cart. The cart stands about 1 ' tall <br /> with a pitched roof on both sides. The proposed location is <br /> between Labute's hardware and the Shell Station. Permission <br /> has been obtained from the owner of the property. The abut- <br /> ting property owner has agreed to permit us to utilize the <br /> restroom facility and if necessary the handwashing' fa- <br /> celitis, etc. . we are proposing to serge hot dogs, hamburg- <br /> ers, Italian sausage, popcorn, dips, garden salads, fruit <br /> cups, coffee, soda, etc. . The unit is not self-contained <br /> however, a sink and refrigeration unit have been installed. <br /> The Building Inspector has indicated a venders permit must be <br /> obtained from the Police Department. Hours of operation <br /> would be from lo:oo a.m, to r o p.m, the unit con <br /> tains a storage tank for gray water.. <br /> Mr. Staruch indicated foods would be prepared at the <br /> Flume Restaurant then transported to the unit, <br /> f <br /> Discussion took place regarding' an approved water source <br /> and the means of disposal ,for the gray water. <br /> Mr. Evans commented the Flume would be required to ob- <br /> tain a catering permit along with proper eq <br />
