MINUTES March 7, 1991 3 BOARD OF HEALTH Questions were raised as to whether the well should be disconnected or remain intact for irrigation purposes . Mr, Creel ish commented the well could be utilized for- the composting area, Mr, Doherty relayed4he would not like the pump and tank disconnected from the well and stated he will contact theWa- ter District. Board members agreed. Recycling Meeting - Mr. Greelish will contact a liaison a the Senior Center. Remaining items discussed subsequent to this next appt. APPOINTMENT: Mr, Staruch & Mr. Mills - Concession Stand Mr. Staruch and Mr. Mills were in attendance for this scheduled appointment. Mr, Mills explained, they are proposing to set up a mo- bile hot dog vending cart. The cart stands about 1 ' tall with a pitched roof on both sides. The proposed location is between Labute's hardware and the Shell Station. Permission has been obtained from the owner of the property. The abut- ting property owner has agreed to permit us to utilize the restroom facility and if necessary the handwashing' fa- celitis, etc. . we are proposing to serge hot dogs, hamburg- ers, Italian sausage, popcorn, dips, garden salads, fruit cups, coffee, soda, etc. . The unit is not self-contained however, a sink and refrigeration unit have been installed. The Building Inspector has indicated a venders permit must be obtained from the Police Department. Hours of operation would be from lo:oo a.m, to r o p.m, the unit con tains a storage tank for gray water.. Mr. Staruch indicated foods would be prepared at the Flume Restaurant then transported to the unit, f Discussion took place regarding' an approved water source and the means of disposal ,for the gray water.
