F <br /> 7 , ) Pro sed revised Spraying Regulation Mr. McQuaid ex- <br /> plained the existing regulation 'is unenforceable.. "In my � <br /> opinion, the intent of the regulation wasqpto protect surface <br /> waters, "Their 's -strong opposition from Lawn companies to <br /> comply with the regulation. " Mr, McQuaid presented a revised <br /> regulation to the Board for thein approval. <br /> Mr, costa stated the regulation was adopted to restrict <br /> siphoning of waters, as well as, proper vehicle maintenance <br /> and controlled spraying. <br /> Mr, Doherty recommended the regulation remain as adopted <br /> however, the Agents should use discretion when enforcing. <br /> Mr. Costa commented the regulation should be adopted on <br /> regional basis. <br /> Board members agreed the 'regulation will remain as <br /> adopted. . <br /> Mr. Costa stated he will present the regulation to the <br /> Commission for their comments. <br /> • <br /> Mr. Greelish directed Mr. McQuaid to enforce the regula- <br /> tion as necessitated. <br /> APPOINTMENT: All Cape Health care - Service Proposal <br /> Ms, Rene Gordon, representing All Cape Health Care, Ms. <br /> Jean Roma, representing the Visiting Nurses Association, <br /> Lynne Waterman, .Outreach Coordinator and Mr. Robert Connell, <br /> Director of the council on Aging were in attendance for this <br /> scheduled appointment. <br /> Ms. Gordon- questioned the bidding process for the next <br /> fiscal year. <br /> Mr. Gre lish informed Ms. Gordon the Board -of Health <br /> budget for fiscal year 1992 was submitted and approved by the <br /> Finance Committee. <br /> • <br />
