MINUTES October 3 , 1991 3 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 12, ) New well _ .est results, _ 156-Captains I ow X Janedy <br /> Mr. Costa stated he spoke with Mr, Janedy who relayed the neva <br /> well location has produced similar water quality as the ini- <br /> tial well. "Mr. Janedy is of the opinion the neer well should <br /> have been drilled 301 or more to obtain better quality than <br /> what was found at V . Mr, costa stated the problem between <br /> Mr. Janedy and the well driller appears to be financial. <br /> "Water found at the new well site indicates high sodium how- <br /> ever, the well driller does not feel the sodium level is <br /> health hazard. <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, the well driller is concerned that <br /> drilling deeper at this site may cause salt grater intrusion <br /> into the water table found at 91 . <br /> Mr, Doherty stated if the new -' well location has po- <br /> table water and is connected the Board will sign-off on the <br /> occupancy. ' Any change in well depth is between the owner <br /> and well driller. " <br /> APPOINTMENT: Virginia Landry # New Seabury Trent. Plants <br /> Ms, Landry was in attendance for this scheduled appoint- <br /> ment. <br /> Ms. Landry informed the Board a meeting was held onAu- <br /> gust 22, 1991 between M. ,P.A. and New Seabury at the New <br /> eabury Real Estate office. "Coincidentally a Cape Cod Com- <br /> mission continued hearing for the New Seabury Treatment <br /> Plants was scheduled at the same time� of 11 Petti, George <br /> Malloy and myself attended' the hearing, as well as, Nancy <br /> Baker from the office Environmental Affairs. Chris Burden and <br /> Michael Grotske. "Ms. Landry relayed, Ms. Baker stated she <br /> notified the Cape Cod Commission of the New Seabury hearing <br /> with .E*P.A, but was never contacted, 11 <br /> Mr. Costa stated this Board never received notification <br /> of a M.E,P.A, hearing held on the issue. "I strongly suggest <br /> this Board research why.. :E.P.A. hearing was;held in the <br /> i applicants private .; Y <br /> is . . , Mr. - Costa stated, t was recom- <br /> mended this Board ireguest a ruling from the Attorney <br /> General's off i <br />
