MINUTES October 10, 1991 3 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> No objections were voiced by abutters in attendance. <br /> Attorney Kenney requested a continuance of this. hearing <br /> as she would like to research State and Local requirements. <br /> Mr. Costa motioned to continue this hearing until Novem- <br /> ber 14, 199-1. r. Gree 1 i sh seconded. <br /> -Mr. Cauley stated he will renotify abutters. <br /> T THIS TIME, P.M. , MR, DOHERTY JOINED THE MEETING <br /> APPOINTMENT: Ron Schutz - Recycling <br /> Mr, Schutz was in attendance for this scheduled appoint- <br /> ment. + <br /> Mr. Costa questioned Mr•. Schutz as to why glass bans <br /> have not been emptied as per contractual agreement,. <br /> Mr. Schutz presented pictures of the most recent load of <br /> glass and stated the colored glass was emptied however, was <br /> found to be contaminated with windshields, caws, metal <br /> frames,, etc. "1 am trying to minimize recycling costs so as <br /> not to exceed costs for disposal . " <br /> Mr, Greelish directed Mr, McQuaid to question Mr.. <br /> DiM ggio as to- why glass loads remain contaminated. <br /> . ) Emergency septic certification A4 overlook Knoll - <br /> r. Costa stated he did discuss this matter with the health <br /> agents, "Public water is available to service the dwelling," <br /> Mr* Evans informed-"the Board the system is in obvious <br /> S <br /> ' fai lure.$ . "The on- site septic system is 801 from the on-site <br /> well , "We are awaiting the owners statement which agrees t <br /> no increase. in habitable space. + "It is undetermined at this ' <br /> time .,whether the abutting property, (10 OverlookKnoll) , is <br /> ` serviced u�bl is water or aprivate well, " <br /> Board members agreed to continue this request for an <br /> _ <br /> emergency�re �r� �aend�r�g, notification to the owner that this <br /> Board is reques ing public water hookup prior to the repair. <br /> 70 Z,B,A. agenda 10/23 91 - Acknowledged <br />
