Board members agreed to continue this ma t r 14 days from this date. <br /> MINUTES February 27, 1997 7 BOARD OF BEALTH <br /> APPOINTMENT: Five Star/Attorney Murphy- Accounts Payable <br /> 1s. Shirley Souza, representative from Five Star Enterprises and Attorney <br /> Michael Murphy were in attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Attorney Murphy stated, "Five Star has submitted $3128.00 in payment to the <br /> town this k." "There is a remaining balance of$9848.00." "Five Star would like t <br /> male a payment schedule.' "What we would like.to propose is to take the $9848,00 and <br /> spread that out over a period of six months." "That would b $1,641.00 per month." <br /> "The first payment would be the 31't f March and then on the last day of each month <br /> thereafter." "In addition to that any current fees would be paid in a timely fashi n." "I <br /> request this Board accept the' payment schedule in order to probate Five Star and allow <br /> them to continue ire their course of business.' "All invoices will be paid by certified <br /> hl ." <br /> Mr. Doherty stated, "My concern is the town is not a bank." "we don't charge <br /> financing or late fees, etc." "we would be negligent if we didn't stay on top of that." <br /> 1Ir, Cram stated, "I have a problem with letting it go for six months." <br /> Mr. McQuaid commented, "We need some sort of guarantee that we're not going <br /> to get a check and asked to hold it for a week." <br /> Ms. Souza stated, "Certified cheeks will be sent promptly at the end of each <br /> month." <br /> Mr. Doherty questioned, "What about the bond issue?" <br /> " <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "In nay opinion, should allowFive start catch up, stay <br /> current and then we will discuss the bond issue when their license expires." <br /> " bond issue sue was not brought t m <br /> Attorney Murphy stated, The b gh y attention." <br /> Mr. Gramm stated, I ill agree to the six months with the stipulation if the <br /> deadline is missed the account is to be paid in full," <br /> Board members agreed <br />
