TOWN OF MASEPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> I <br /> March 27, 1997 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Members present; Robert F. Cram, Sr., Steven R. Ball and John T. Doherty <br /> TBE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR TBE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION N NL Y. <br /> Mr. Robert F. Cram, Sr., Chairman <br /> 1 Warrants signed. <br /> 2. Mr. Ball motioned to accept the minutes of March 13, 1997, IIIc. Doherty <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> UNSCHEDULED APPOINTMENT Ronald C ppa olli - "Michael's Cyrille" <br /> Mr. Ronald Cappa olli, owner of Deer Crossing, was in attendance for discussion. <br /> Mr. Evans stated, " &. Mattia, owner of Michael's Grille, is moving to another <br /> location inside of the Deer Crossingcomplex." "He is proposing to enlarge his restaurant <br /> from 25 seats to approximately 80 seats." "The plan I have meets our specifications with <br /> a few minor changes." "One problem is the sewage flow." "The system as it exists is <br /> 1600 gallons per day." "The 80 seat restaurant alone will require 2800 gallons per day." <br /> "Mr. Cappa olli is requesting the Board permit him to activate the reserve so that he will <br /> have adequate volume in which to handle the restaurant flow." <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, `ft's understood also that they will be installing a grease trap <br /> from the kitchen flow prior to the tank." "It is a Board of Health regulation that <br /> commercial systems when installed have to install both the primary and reserve." <br /> "Combined, the primary and reserve is adequate to handle this expanded use." "In the <br /> past the Board has waived the requirement of an alternative reserve he installed in a case <br /> like this where there is adequate room should it ever be necessary to install a reserve <br /> system." "The system in the ground is adequate on the condition that they install a grease <br /> trap " <br /> Mr. Lappa olli stated, "The complex is at maximum buildability." <br />
