Doherty <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF TIHE M ETMG IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION N NLY. <br /> i1Ir. Robert F. Cram, Sr., Chairman <br /> 1.) warrants signed <br /> . Mr. Ball motioned to accept the minutes of March 27, 1997, Mr. Doherty <br /> rty <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> . Coy of Health Fair a - Mr. Evans volunteered to set up the display for the <br /> Health Fair and will contact Leisure Services regarding space. <br /> . Letter from D.P.H. r : Capa1 - Mr. Cram stated, "D.E.P. has suggested <br /> testing quarterly." <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "That is what I recommended and they concurred." "I did <br /> respond to a recent inquiry from a news reporter that we have had several phone calls <br /> from residents on that side of the pond asking to have their water tested for v.o. .'s." `I <br /> arranged with the Barnstable County Health Department to have them do v.o. . analysis <br /> at no charge." "Four residents have taken us up on that.' "'fie don't have any results <br /> back however, this happened well before the discovery of t. . . and p. . . on that side of <br /> the pond." "It is still my belief that it is not related to the Base because of the depth o <br /> these wells being o' to '." "where the contamination is found is in excess of 150' <br /> into the groundwater." "I don't know whether we want the news media to make <br /> something out of this that is not there.' <br /> Mr. Cram stated, "D.P.H. is saying based on the findings at this point their <br /> recommendations were further testing by us on a quarterly basis." "Do we want to accept <br /> this as F.Y.I. at this point.' <br />
