"They took in all of nay concerns and considerations.' ��� uvea <br /> hoping they would restrict the mercury level advisories to stall mouth bass which is <br /> i what thed isory we is that posted." "They declined to go along with that because all the <br /> fish in the ponds were not tested for mercury." <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to direct the agent to re-post the ponds for high mercury <br /> levels in fish,, Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Barbara Davis - 14 Cutlass Dane <br /> Ms. Barbara Davis was in attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "There was a house abutting Ms. Davis's property on <br /> Cutlass Lane that went on the market." " .E. . requires a septic inspection on any <br /> transfer of property." `During the inspection process the inspector tried to determine <br /> groundwater elevation so he stuck a tape down what-he thought was the ell." "It turned <br /> out that the well was decommissioned but there was some fuel related product in the <br /> well." "We had Barnstable County out there, analyze the substance, did some water tests <br /> on the abandoned abutting well on the same property which cane up clean." "As a <br /> precautionary measure I called the Water District to find out if there were any homes irr <br /> the area still on private wells and Ms. Davis and one other abutter turned out to be still on <br /> private wells." "I took it up myself to draw water samples from both of these other <br /> ells." "Ms. Davis's shoved some trace contamination and that is what started this <br /> wholeprocess of trying to get Ms. Davis to try and connect to town water as she has <br /> ted to rent this property out." "We have a regulation in place which allows us to <br /> require someone with even potentially contarnrn ted groundwater, if its a rental unit, to <br /> connect to townwater." "'Since March 3 Vt up until now, Ms. Davis has questioned what <br /> authority the Board of Health has in requiring public water, chain ofcustody questions, <br /> etc." "The latest correspondence from Ms. Davis stated she could not attend the <br /> upcoming meeting and requested to meet with the Board during the day." "Ms. Davis <br /> p g � <br /> contacted nye this afternoon and I-informed her Board members are not available during <br /> the day and that we meet regularly on Thursday evenings." <br /> IVIS.
