Mr. Ball motioned to approve the minutes of October 10, 1996, Mr. Doherty <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> Nk. Ball motioned to above the executive session minutes of October 10 1996, <br /> Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br /> Mr. Doherty motioned to approve the minutes of October 17, 1996, Mr. BaU <br /> seconded, ah agreed. <br /> . Memo to High School Building Committee re: Dfinking Drinkingfountains - Mr. McQuaid <br /> informed Board members, "The g water fountains are noir open for consumption."' <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> 4. Memo from D. Storrs re: W+y.T.I . - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "fir. Storrs wanted <br /> to keep the Board abreast of the discharge]its and hoer they are in fuh compliance." <br /> A knowledged. <br /> 5.) Proposal from Brockton Iron & Steel - Mr. McQuaid relayed, "AV e have been <br /> using PIS Contracting ever since W. Greelish convinced the Board to switch to another <br /> firm because he felt they were sabotaging our white goods pile, etc.."' "'Since that time, <br /> Brockton Iron & Steel periodically cores back with a proposal to reestablish our <br /> business.119 "What Brockton Iron & Steel is offering is in fact, less than what PK <br /> Contracting is currently offering us."' "PK Contracting is giving us $25.00/ton, they are <br /> removing the Freon from refrigerators and air conditioning units at no charge and they <br /> handle our tin ean .,� "I would recommend we thank Brockton Iron & Steel for their <br /> proposal and that we stay with PK Contracting." <br /> Mr. Ball motioned to retain PK contracting as our white goods removal company, <br /> Mr. Doherty seconded, all agreed. <br />
