Annual Meetir <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, 'The Mass. Health Officers Association annual meeting is <br /> next week Mr. Evans and I will try to attend." <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> DD BISMSS <br /> Meetinp,with D.E.P. re: C pp�i _Grant <br /> Mr. Doherty relayed, "Mr. McQuaid, Mr. whritenour, representatives from <br /> Weston & Sa nspon and I went to a meeting at D.B.P. M4 Boston." "Senator <br /> auschenhach, State Representative Thomas whir, Representatives from 1 I. .P.A. were <br /> also present,, "while I wasn't 100% pleased with the outcome we did strife a <br /> compromise with D.E.P.." "D. . . raised a good issue in costs per acre to cap the landf . <br /> have come don substantially." `Essentially, their saying we didn't cap the portion of the <br /> landfill that they were willing to give us the money for, we capped a different porion. 441 <br /> didn't agree with then." `Their going to core up with some sort of compromise." "I <br /> believe it was something about % of the bills that were submitted which were about <br /> $800,000.00 so far." "So. it will be less than $350,000.00 we had originally anticipated <br /> taking in consideration a reduced cost for capping the landffll originally estimated at <br /> $120,000.00 per acre is now down to about $80,000.00 per acre." <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "'Commissioner Strues promised to give us some kind of <br /> grant reimbursement this fiscal year. "`Should we expend the difference to make up the <br /> $350,000.00 in fiscal year 1998 he would look into reimbursing us for that too." <br />
