Community Garden Chairman asked if any decision had been made on <br /> their request to use the Recreation Building, <br /> 4 <br /> S <br /> Chairman Benway informed -her that he had prepared a response to <br /> this request which she would be receiving shortly, <br /> . Chairman Benay reminded the press that the next meeting of the <br /> Board of Selectmen would be Wednesday, July 2 , p,m, - 9 :00 p.m. <br /> . Press asked if there was any up-date on the recreation Ad Hoc. <br /> Committee. Chairman informed that this will be given on July 2 . <br /> r 7: fir. Harry Edmed questioned the Board as to the spraying of trees <br /> ` in his area - Tree warden says they have been sprayed but no one <br /> has seen him. <br /> Chairman informed Mr. Edmed that the only problem is that the spray <br /> only last a couple of days. George Ryan le f t a list of streets that <br /> had been sprayed did not see his area - will check into this. <br /> r.- Joseph O' Conner met with Board seeking information on Maushop <br /> village. wanted to know if zoning in that area was residential. <br /> Town Counsel stated that an office could be built there. Zoning <br /> law states that open space developer is not subject to zoning <br /> requirements involving the usage, so the only control that is in <br /> effect for I ewseabury is the convenant that exist between <br /> Newseabury and the Town, that is, the deed restrictions - the deed <br /> layout permitting so many dwellings per acre and so many business <br /> units, They can put anything there as long as it is not obnoxious * <br /> Mr, Edmed brought to Board' s attention the use of town v echicles <br /> at night - unofficial use - as far as insurance goes. <br /> Chairman stated he would look into this. <br /> 10. Chairman requested that the minutes show that the Board '.s aware <br /> of an occurrence at the Red Rooster - we will wait for the criminal <br /> dispostion to be provided prior to us looking into this any further. <br /> _ � <br />
