The Council on Aging would like the Board' s decisions on these <br /> i terns <br /> Maintenance Department - Finish painting the trim on the <br /> upper part of the building or hire a painting contractor. <br /> Someone who has the equipment. <br /> B, Nutrition Site Manager has. asked for two 2 two ft. shelves <br /> to be over the counter next to the stove. The Council <br /> thought that the Maintenance Crew could build then. Larry <br /> suggested that we get a -carpenter to do .it. . <br /> C. Is there an oil burner service man under contract? In case <br /> of an emergency who are we to contact? The burner has been <br /> cleaned and s e rvi e d this summer. <br /> D. Is there any R, R, ties on Town Property that are not being <br /> used? we could use some around the islands in the paring <br /> lot. They would protect the shrubs , etc. <br /> Last winter the fuel assistance applications were distributed <br /> from the Selectmen' s office. There wasn' t any record o'f who <br /> or how many people received assistance in the Town of lashpe. <br /> The Towns of Bourne and Falmouth had copies of all applications . <br /> I think that Mashpee should be - entitled to its share. There isn' t <br /> any doubt that there are people receiving assistance that shouldn' t <br /> be, and there are people that should be that are not. <br /> The Council on Aging would like a new piano.. The one we have can' t <br /> be fixed. - I t was suggested that I contact Elizabeth Simpson for <br /> a grant through the Hass. Council of the Arts. Elizabeth said <br /> that the Selectmen' s office has the telephone.number. I will call <br /> them to see what monies are available. <br /> i <br />
