Chairman stated that he would continue as the Representative to <br /> the Barnstable County Finance Advisory Board. <br /> 7. Motion made by Selectman. Thomas, seconded by Selectman Garland, to <br /> accept the minutes of 9/24/80 . Declared a vote by Chairman. <br /> . Time was allotted to the Press in which they discuss the south Cape <br /> Beach Agreement and John' s Pond. <br /> 9. chairman announced that there- will be a meeting at Woods Hole <br /> uissett carpus on October 17th at 1 : 15 p.m. with Representative <br /> from Barnstable CountySelectmen' s Association and selectwoman <br /> from FaImouth regarding a Joint sponsorship of Further Studies of <br /> the area that was known specifically as the Popponessett Barrier <br /> Beach. If goals are found to be similar, then a joint effort can <br /> be made in getting a grant. <br /> 1 . Motion made by Selectman Thomas, seconded by Selectman Garland, <br /> to appoint Charles Buckingham as the Hazardous waste Coordinator. <br /> Declared a vote by Chairman. <br /> 11. <br /> - It was decided not to advertise for a Recreation Director- at this <br /> time. Job description is being worked on and chairman would <br /> like input from the Recreation Committee, John Malone and fir. <br /> Conery in regards to the needs for a I ecreati.on .Di rector. <br /> 12. Motion made by Selectman Garland, seconded by Selectman Thomas, to <br /> appoint Chester Koblinsky as Alternate costal Zone Representative. <br /> Declared a vote b'y Chairman, <br /> 13. - selectman Garland stated that he had met with Mr. Lawrence in <br /> regards -to a facilities sticker for the Town. It was felt that <br /> one sticker for all facilities should be issued. Selectman Garland <br /> stated that he had talked with Dick Peters of standard Modern <br /> Printing. It was - fi gured that 25 0 0 stickers would be needed and <br /> they would cost approximately 1 - '2 each. As far as cost of <br /> sticker the following was mentioned: Visitors/summer residents$5. 00 for 2 weeks, $10. 00 for- weeks ; $15. for 4 leeks and <br /> $50. 00 for the year. Proof of residence would be required such <br /> as tax bill, water bill, etc. , P.o., Box would not be accepted. <br /> Registration number would be written on 'each sticker. If- more <br /> than one car in family Falmouth charges $25. QO for first car, <br /> 5. 00 for second and $25. 00 for each additional car. As far as <br /> visitors , they charge $1 . 00 for one -week; $15 . 00 for two weeks, etc. . <br /> First 50 block of numbers would be issued to commercial vehicles <br /> within the Town, chairman would like to act on this next meeting. <br /> 14. Motion made by Selectman Thomas , seconded by Selectman Garland to <br /> adjourn. Declared a vote by Chairman.
