If Article #21 fails , we wi-11 have to look. at that item <br /> in the Omnibus Article, and add $5 ,000 to that account for next year. <br /> Article #27 - Mr, Garland will move to indefinitely postpone . <br /> Article #28 add one word between lines 3 and 4 of that Article : "con- <br /> demned" (delete abandoned) . <br /> Article # - Jean Thomas had prepared an amendment which was accepted by <br /> the other Selectmen, with two changes : delete the word "Department" <br /> following Engineering, and replace it with "A count" ; specify that the <br /> funds are to create a "Land Use -Map" of the T own. Although they have never submitted- a final report, they <br /> stated in their annual report several years ago that they had "completed" <br /> their project. <br /> Mr, Garland reported that there will he- a representative from the Cape <br /> Cod Development organization here to 'speak on that Article. <br /> Regarding the Selectmen' s Expense Account in the Omnibus Article , which was <br /> reduced by the Finance Committee, all selectmen present felt it was urgent <br /> to restore funds to buy a new typewriter and two desk chairs , which will <br /> come to approximately $1, 300. <br /> The secretarial salary Account should allow for a increase .
