ADMINISTRATIVE MEETING OF BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> • July 7 , 1981 <br /> 1) The Executive Secretary reported that Firefighter Chase is due <br /> back at work Thursday morning. The Executive Secretary will check <br /> with Town Counsel regarding procedure for handling complaint against <br /> Mr. Chase. <br /> 2) Executive Secretary informed the Board that the Fire Department is <br /> conducting a promotion program. <br /> 3 ) Mr. Ames, Dog Officer, Natural Resource Officer, is requesting an <br /> Executive Session relative to his personnel file. <br /> 4) Board of Health is requesting $700 for landfill engineering be <br /> expended from Selectmen' s Legal and Engineering .Account. No monies <br /> were requested at the Annual Town Meeting. <br /> 5) Patrolman Aitchison is scheduled for a physical by the Town physician, <br /> Dr. Lewis , on Thursday; July 23rd. <br /> 6) The previous secretary in the Board of Health Office, . Lucinda Lashley, <br /> will be asked to work one week with the new Permit/License Clerk, <br /> Dorothy Carter. <br /> 7) The landfill area being closed on Tuesday and Thursday is presenting <br /> a serious problem; rubbish is being cumped outside the gate and along <br /> the side streets. <br /> 8) Police Chief Frye has recommended a heavy duty gate be installed at <br /> the Town Beach to close it off after the Beach has closed.
