Article in the Warrant <br /> read "to borrow". Joe Reardon says there is no problem with the <br /> borrowing. Ropes & Gray say it can't be done. Tho problem was <br /> discovered when the Treasurer went out to bond. . <br /> chairman Garland asked if this would affect our entry into the <br /> District? Mr. Murphy will pose questions to Town Counsel as soon <br /> as he returns from vacation. <br /> On the question of the propane gas storage tank for the Police <br /> Station, the selectmen could shen some light. The project ran into <br /> legal and financial problems. That part of the .account ran short of <br /> funds , one sub-contractor gent defunct. At the Oct. 20 , 1980 Special <br /> Town Meeting, $7 ,500 was appropriated for that purpose, Mr. Murphy's <br /> research has revealed. It has previously <br /> been held at Mashpee Middle school , but Dr. Nicholson sags this has not <br /> been a good arrangement because there is a lot of art work involved, <br /> and the students and teachers would like to be able to leave it out <br /> between classes, which they can't do now when the classroom has to be <br /> in use every day for other type classes. <br /> D r. Nicholson has toured this building, and he eels that the room <br /> down stairs currently being- used by the conservation Commission/ Fec- <br /> recation Dept. would be ideal. He will offer space for those two <br />
