Reardon and Executive Secretary Joseph F. Murphy* GUESTS: Mr. Earl. Wallace Vice President of Angelo Supermarkets, Mr, James W, Segal - and Mr. Richard Kelliher from ''the Massachusetts Municipal Association, Mr. - Brown representative of the New England Telephone Company, Eine Chief Ed Hartin, B, Jean Thomas , Marjorie Koblinsky, Chester Kohl insy, Henry -Bus Toni , Anne T. Shaw, Earl Mars tees , Carol. Jacobson, Vernice Polka, Eleanor -Harding' and Jane Peterson. hm. Garland held the meeting up. for a few minutes to introduce Mr, Earl Wallace, Vice President of Angelo Supermarkets , who presented a Town Seal to the Town of Mashpee. Board expressed their thanks and gratitude to Mr. Wallace , 6 : 02 p.m. - Chin. Garland convened the meeting. Motion by Sel . Hanson to accept the minutes of the July 13 , 1983Regular meeting as written. Seconded -by Chin. Garland. Motion passed. HEARINGS AND APPOINTMENTS o . p.m. - Crim. Garland convened the public hearing on New England Telephone Company' s request of petition 83-566 for proposed .48901 conduit beginning near old. Mill Road on Route 28 and ending by uinagui - sett Avenue i.n Mashpee, Ma. Chm. Garland asked if there were any objections to this pet,ition-. There were none-. Chm. Garland said that it is in order to issue the permit. Motion by Sel, Hanson to approve the .p tit.ion o the New England Tel. Company.. Seconded y hm. Garland. This is a vote , Mr. Brown, representative o the company said that this was to install a new toll circuit to increase capacity. He asked. to, be excused from the meeting as there was no other business pertaining to him. Hoard thanked him for coming and stated that they appreciate his attending. As it was not time for the next appointment and Mrs . Harding had not arrived hm. Garland went to old Business . OED BUSINESS: 2 . On the letter from Mr. Arnold B. Chace, Jr, representative of Fields Paint Corporation regarding the gift of land for the Mashpee Library, the Board decided to refer this - to the Executive Secretary for a response. Sel. Hanson asked if this would mean holding another meeting with Mr. Chace and Chm. Garland said that it would. . on the registered letter from Mr. Joseph IiMa 'gio regarding the fuel bids and his rejection of the contract the Board referred this matter to Town Counsel.
