Anderson, Shirley <br /> Peters ,- Janice Mills and Curtis Woodbury. <br /> : 00 p,m, - Chairman Garland convened the meeting. <br /> Motion by Selectman Hanson -and seconded by Selectman Terry to approve the <br /> minutes of the August 17, 1983 meeting. This is a vote. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS <br /> p.m. - Chm, Garland opened the public hearing on the request from <br /> the New England Telephone Company to install one pole southerly <br /> of the rotary on Route 28. Chin. Garland asked if anyone was <br /> opposed. None. Motion by Sel, Hanson to approve the petition <br /> of New England Telephone Company. Seconded by Sel. Terry. Motion <br /> Carried. <br /> p.m. - Mr, James Kogut of the Cherrystone Restaurant was in to give <br /> the Board an update on the premises . Executive Secretary explained <br /> that the State has now approved the change of name from the New <br /> Farm to the Cherrystone and that the Building Inspector on June <br /> 8th had requested that the sign be removed, Sel, Hanson asked <br /> who was making the sign. Mr. Kogut replied that Mr. Richard <br /> Gallo was . el * Hanson asl ed where he was located. Mr. Kogut <br /> said that all he had was a phone number for him. Chrn. Garland <br /> asked when the kitchen would be opened. Mr. Kogut stated that <br /> he hoped it would be ready in two or three weeks . Sel. Terry <br /> asked what kind of food was being sola there now, Mr, Kogut <br /> replied that they were serving soup and sandwiches . Boardcompli- <br /> mented Mr. Kogut on - the appearance of the building. Executive. <br /> Secretary asked if the Board would sign the new licenses at this <br /> time. Motion by Sed.. Hanson to approve the' licenses - under the <br /> new name of the Cherrystone. Seconded by Sial, Terry. Motion <br /> Carried. <br /> L,,A: 15 P,m, - The South -Cape Beach State Park Advisory Cornmitte 's sub-committee <br /> carne to discuss with the Board Article 17 in the agreement of <br /> the Town with the State relative to a boat ramp on the to acres <br /> that the Commonwealth lth of Massachusetts is to give or lease for <br /> $1. 00 for 99 years to the Town. Chrn. Garland read the Article. <br /> Meir. Chester- Koblinsky would like more frontage and less depth <br /> given to the town. He also suggested that this land be used <br /> for other purposes . He has talked with a Mr. Palmer who i <br /> willing to donate an entire estate 's fund for the purpose of <br /> building a miniature woodhole on that site. The subcommittee <br /> realizes that this is for the future but this could be a thought <br />
