' <br /> .He stated how in the summer the children in the- area go to <br /> the ice- cream store and it is a' hangout. for them. He feels <br /> this license will be a bad influence on then. <br /> Jane Peterson said that 'ew seabury Corporation is the land- <br /> It <br /> lord and that most of the people doing. to the Marketplace use <br /> Rock Landing- Road. The parking tot 'is off of that road. She <br /> stated that the need- is for commercial property in that area. ' <br /> Mr. Yacuzzo stated that it is going to be more of a restaurant <br /> than a place to drink. He- feels that his customers should no-t- <br /> be denied beer or wine if they- want with their food. <br /> Discussion continued on , the playground. Town Counsel said that <br /> the application should ' s tate that-' it is near- a .p lay round. He <br /> said that the. law requires that it lasts whether- there is church <br /> school or hospital in the area.. He .was. refering, to Chapter 138 <br /> Section 15A of the Iassachssetts .General Laws ., <br /> Sel. Hanson asked if they - could put up a fence as h'e is concerned <br /> about where the Raw -Bar Terrace- is located. <br /> Ms . Peterson stated that .th.ey will pint up a six foot privacy fence. <br /> Town Counsel said that he feels the pople are coreernd with -the <br /> intoxication, - noise and -that, they ' don't want the children exposed <br /> to someone being obnoxious , <br /> Mr. Curtis Woodbury said that, -he is vehemently opposed to the liquor <br /> license. He is concerned that- this is only the first- license to- <br /> be requested- in that area as this is only Phase I of what is ' going <br /> to- be done, <br /> Mrs, Barbara- Woodbury said that. she also is opposed to the liquor <br /> lisenee as she feels it will be- detrimental to- the children. <br /> Mr. ,. Jack Hall said that' with all - the- children walking Shore Drive <br /> he feels that they don' t need something else to attrack a crowd. <br /> He opposes the license. <br /> .14rs . Virginia Landry from the Poppon sset- Association said- that <br /> most f' the directors of the- association are opposed to the Liquor <br /> license.. she feels the children- should be allowed to go buy steamers <br /> but with a liquor license they- o .' t be allowed to go in, <br /> -Ms . P'eterson said that they ' are not looking for a -teenage crowd.. <br /> . el. Terry asked about the menu prices-and the dress- code, <br /> Nor.
