Murphy <br /> Town Counsel , Joseph J. Reardon <br /> JEST : Charles Eager, David Pine, William Lancaster, Marion Lancaster, Mial and <br /> Marian Flkin , Charles Stockbridge, Alice Hamilton and Ed English as well <br /> as Monica McNally <br /> Selectman Thomas roved to approve the minutes of November 14 regular meeting and <br /> Executive Session as well as the November 21 regular meeting. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> 7:00 David Pine representing the County Commissioners explained to the Board that due <br /> to problems with a 1964 road layout of Meetinghouse Hoard done by David Green who, the <br /> County believe was employed by the Town at this time needed to be redone. The County <br /> mired Charles Savory to redo the layout. The following expenses were.'-incurred as a <br /> result: <br /> Charles Savory $6835.00 <br /> Filing fees 155.75 <br /> Attorney fees 450.00 <br /> $7453,75 <br /> Mr. Pine pointed out that this bill was ten years old and hoped that the town would <br /> settle this matter as soon as possible. <br /> Selectman Terry told Mr. Pine that the Selectmen would like to look into this further <br /> before making any decisions regarding this matter. <br /> 7:15 Commonwealth Electric submitted a petition for two joint poles on Ma hp e Teck. <br /> Road. The poles would extend service to Simon Narrows Road. <br /> There were a few abutters present who had questions concerning these poles. <br /> Mr. Murphy pointed out that. Mr. French from Commonwealth Electric was unable to attend <br /> the meeting tonight. He therefor s-u gest d the Hearing be continued until next week . <br /> at which time he would have Mfr. French present to answer their concerns. <br /> Some of the concerns were whether there would be any transformers, would them be any <br /> interference with radio and t.v. ' s. <br /> Selectman Thomas roved to continue the meeting until December 19, 1984 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> 7:30 Mr. Cotton -.requested time along with Frank. Murphy and Gary Hanson to ask <br /> Selectmen if they would be interested in supporting a sale of 36 acres o-f town owned <br /> land which abuts a subdivision of theirs on Sunset Strip. <br /> Selectmen Thomas pointed out that the Selectmen do not have the power it would need <br /> a town meeting vote. <br />
