Murphy, Joseph J. Reardon <br /> Guests : Demos Young, <br /> Selectman Hanson roved to approve the minutes of the meeting on <br /> zoning matters and Section 5. 5 held on December 20, 1984 . <br /> Appointments & Hearings <br /> 7 : 00. First item was hearing regarding removal of Mr. David to ins <br /> from the Historical. committee. This was dismissed as Board received <br /> Mr. Robbins ' resignation' . Selectman. -.T omas moved to accept resigna- <br /> tion and to appoint Mr. Oliver Pocnett, Selectman Hanson seconded, <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 7 :15 . Mr. Demos Young requested the Board of selectmen to submit his <br /> proposal for the processing and packaging of coffee before the Special <br /> Town Meeting.' Mr. Young will be enlarging his building, and requests <br /> that this be included in the -2 zone instead of chancing the zone. <br /> Previously, Mr. Young appeared before the Planning Board, at which time <br /> he was told to obtain a petition of 100 signatures , which he did, and - <br /> was told that they would go to Town Meeting with -2 zone requests. <br /> oweve r, Mr. Young has been waiting 6 months , with no word, and this <br /> as cost hien approximately $40 , 000 , as he docs not have permission to <br /> ]peep equipment of property. Selectman Hanson stated that Mr. Young <br /> had been bounced around enough, and that. the Board of Selectmen will <br /> submit this article for the February Town Meeting, Selectman Thomas <br /> seconded this motion. Motion carried. <br /> Old Business <br /> 1. Lotter from Marilyn Sinkiewicz requesting amendment to zoning by- <br /> law. Mrs . Sinkiewicz requested a new section be added to the by-laws . <br /> Mr. Murphy asked Town Counsel to check with the Assistant Attorney <br /> General the possibility of including this .in the by-laws. <br /> . Mr. Murphy refried . to correspondence from Mr. Re - and Atlantic <br /> Deis n. Town Counsel was not prepared at this time to comment on <br /> this. e-le ctman-.,.Hanson deferred this matter for another week so that <br /> Town Counsel will have time to review this tatter. selectman Thomas <br /> seconded motion. Motion carried. <br /> 8. Mr. Murphy brought up the matter of the status of the ?natural <br /> Resources Officer' s job description, and mentioned that the Personnel. <br /> Board is reviewing and preparing a new job description at this time. <br /> . Mr, Murphy requested up-slate on Mr. Gonsalves . Town Counsel <br /> recommended that the Board go into Executive Session to discuss <br /> pending suit against the Town by Mr. Gonsalves. <br />
