Board reviewed the letter from attorney John Connolly regarding Mr* Paul <br /> Woods lost of one seventy thousand dollar contract. Board asked- the , <br /> Executive Secretary to forward this matter to Town Counsel. Mr. Murphy <br /> suggested that- Attorney Connolly be informed of this. Board concurred. <br /> 2. Wendy Rubin, Recreation Director, met. with the Board to discuss beach <br /> 0 <br /> stickers for the coning season. After much discussion the Selectmen <br /> agreed that stickers should only be ,given to residents of the town this <br /> year, Motion by S e 1. Terry to have only - town e i den t s. issued beach <br /> stickers for the Mashpee beaches* Seconded by S l. Hanson. Motion carried. <br /> Executive secretary said that-.he would get back to the Board with the <br /> administrative procedures. <br /> Ms. Rubin asked that a meeting be set up to discuss all other -issues <br /> regarding the Mashpee beaches. <br /> Board returned to Hearings and. Appointmen s <br /> . . The Cranberry Bog- Committee ,was in to discuss with the Board <br /> three articles,- of which two would be included in the Annual <br /> Town Meeting Warrant and one would be included in the Special <br /> Town Meeting warrant in May.' Mr, Naar, Chairman of the Cranberry <br /> Bog Committee explained and apologized for having changed the <br /> name of the Committee without the Board' s knowledge . Be asked <br /> the Board if the committee- could be called the John' s Pond Park <br /> Management Committee. Board! agreed. Chm. Garland asked that.F , <br /> I <br /> the article a clarified before they areinsertd iii the warrant. <br /> Mr. uphr said that they could be clarified or explained at <br /> town meeting. Sel. Hanson asked where the access road to the <br /> beach was. Mr. Darr said that right now i is at the end of <br /> oophole Road, or through th6 trailer park or ancient by way. <br /> Mr. Iarr said they hope to keep this park in low key as to <br /> leave it in its natural state in order to protect the water for - <br /> future use for a water shed. Board thanked Mr. Darr and his <br /> Committee for coning. <br /> Mr. Murphy said that where Mr. Robert Delory' s request to remove <br /> a building on the beach at John' s Pond preferred to the same. <br /> area perhaps the Board- would like to discuss this matter at this <br /> time. He further stated that the Board had-- retested comments <br />
