Anderson. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. n Town Counsel ' s opinion relative to- the Popponeset Beach <br /> Association. Mr. Murphy explained that no action was needed <br /> by the Board other than advising the Association of the <br /> opinion of. Town Counsel . <br /> Mr. Murphy stated that he would send a letter advising -the <br /> Association of the opinion of counsel . <br /> 2. Mr. Murphy explained to the Board that Mr. Cook had submitted <br /> a letter on Thursday of last week requesting a transfer of <br /> the shellfish grant #006 . . on Friday Mr. Cook submitted another <br /> letter withdrawing his reque-st . <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1 . r. Murphy explained to the Board. that Mr. Thomas Devane submitted <br /> a letter ,requesting he be considered for the vacancy on the Library <br /> Building Committee , he also pointed out that there is a vacancy and <br /> the position had been posted on the board out in the hall . <br /> Selectman Terry roved to appoint Mr . Devane to the Library Building <br /> Committee . Chairman Hanson seconded.. Motion carried. <br /> 2. Relative to the Board of Health regarding Septage Lagoon Proposal . <br /> Mr. Murphy stated that the Board of Health recommended that - Weston <br /> and Sampson be awarded the contract based on an examination done <br /> by a private firm. <br /> lop Selectmen Terror moved to award the contract to Weston 'and Sampson. <br /> Chairman Hanson seconded.
